A Community Environment Park is being sought for Hobart
It was one of four proposals for the Beaumaris Zoo site
,the home of the last known Tasmanian Tiger or Thylacine
Meanwhile public consultation continues for future uses of the site
which might include a sculpture park, ensuring the site continues to be
an important part of Tasmania's cultural life.

founded in 1834, is Australias oldest surviving maker of premium jams, spreads and fruit juices.
Mures Fish House a Tasmanian icon
opened 1973 in Battery Point, Hobart,
by George and William Mure.
In 1986 the family built Mures Fish Centre,
/their restaurant complex at Victoria Dock.
Their daughter Sarah has now succeeded Jill in the kitchen at Mures.
An integral part of this business was a modern fish factory and smokehouse.
The Kiella is the Mures' current fishing operated by their son, William.
